More free traffic tools
Free-For-All (FFA) link and free classified ad sites are great places to get your link out on the web. OK, I know, does anyone really LOOK at these sites and visit the links?
For the most part, no. But here's the interesting part...
THE SEARCH ENGINE ROBOTS DO! And the more incoming links YOUR site has, the higher it will get ranked in the search engines. Every time.
Here's an example. Do a Google Search for "yourpayline" (all one word). Yep. Most of the time, that's me, right there in the number one spot. I got there by getting my link on 1000s of FFA and classified pages. I'm not ALWAYS in the spot, there's another savvy marketer out there that I seem to alternate back and forth with.
But scroll down, and you'll see that my "Getting Started with YourPayLine" link is also consistently in the top ten search results. And that's only ONE site where I've achieved that! I'm consistently doing the same for every site I actively promote.
And no, you don't have to visit all those FFA and classified pages to post your links.
Work smarter, not harder, remember? First of all you need a good ad blaster program. I use "Ad Blaster", and I'm providing you with a free copy of it!

Just set up your ad copy, and click SUBMIT. It's THAT EASY and your ad goes out to hundreds of sites. ONE CAVEAT: use your safelisting email account for this...you're going to get mail!
There are also quite a few websites that allow you to blast ads to multiple sites from a single form. Here are a few, and none require that you supply an email address (no spam to you):

HINT: Bookmark each site when you load it the first time.
You should use both AdBlaster and each of the links once a day for the best results.

What you've describe is precisely why comment spammers do what they do. The only differences is that these link dumps are set up deliberately to be spammed.
It's stuff like this that makes Google a considerably less useful utility than it used to be.
Thank you for polluting the world with your self-serving craptacular ads about craptacular nonsense.
If you want to compete, you have to play the game.
Otherwise, you're just left behind with the rest of the wannabes.
You're not "playing a game", you're just generating completely useless crap. Don't try to delude yourself into thinking it's anything more than that.
FFA are old (bad) news and will eventually get you penalized by search engines ... and for what? you really think people go to those pages and click on your ad? i fell into this trap many years ago and it took a while to dig myself out. so, take it for what it's worth, but i don't think FFA are worth it at all in the long run.
content is and always will be king - real content...

Google is wising up slowly but surely to this pish - as has been said, content is king, and link farms are dying a certain death where it comes to Google PR.
Well... I for one appreciate your advice. You are certainly correct about having a great web site and nobody knowing about it.
I suppose I could sit around waiting for DMOZ to finally post the link and Google maybe picking it up. I don't think Larry King is going to call anytime soon or that Drudge will link up with me.
Anybody in this game needs an edge and I believe your advice about casting a wide net (pun intended).
